countdown to summer

Pantai Teluk Belanga

Pangkor Laut, Malaysia

Also known as Emerald Bay, Pantai Teluk Belanga is located on a privately owned island on the west coast. The island is untouched by commercialization, so its natural beauty and forests are preserved. Pangkor Town is a little town full of interesting things. Corner coffee shops, elegant buildings, and a south Indian Temple are just a few examples of what makes this place so unique. At Cape Le Grand beach, you can take the road out to Rossiter Bay, where even in the middle of summer, it is likely you will have the entire 15km of beach to yourself. If fishing is a hobby of yours, you may take a boat to a group of uninhabited islands known as Pulau Sembilan, and pass beautiful coral reefs along the way. If your looking for a resort, Pangkor Laut Resort is the most exclusive island resort in Malaysia. January to May are the best times of the year to visit, although it is open for tourism all year.
