Anse Lazio

Praslin, Seychelles

All the islands of Seychelles look beautiful, but the Anse Lazio beach is a flawless sunbathing location. The sand is noticeably softer than the other surrounding beaches which have broken up coral, making the sand more coarse, while the turqoise transparent water emerges onto powdery soft sand begging to get stuck in between your toes. The water is comfortably warm, and great for swimming. A sheltered cove is ideal for snorkeling, but some tourists say the water gets too rough at times to go snorkeling. Leave the waves for the surfers, and kids to play in (supervised of course). Keep an eye out for the giant tortoises that habitat the island. They're fun to see and always catch the eye! Hungry? No problem. There are two restaurants on either end of the beach, conveniently located almost on the beach, but set back behind trees, preserving the natural beauty of the environment. Despite the sometimes rough water, Anse Lazio is brilliantly decorated by mother nature with plenty of pleasing views, including eye-catching wildlife, coconut palms emerging from the ground, and gorgeous water. Anse Lazio is simply fantastic.
